Oh Em Geez! A Kingdom Hearts Layout!?!
That's right: You are viewing a Kingdom Hearts layout entitled "Oathkeeper." The main features are the characters Kairi, the girl with red hair, and Sora, the guy with blonde/brown hair (who looks like a girl).

I am a video game "junkie" and love role playing games. Kingdom Hearts just happens to be one of my favorites. After playing it so many times, I really wanted to make a layout and other graphics with it. I tried making them in the past, but could not bring myself to finish anything because I thought the game series was just too beautiful. Fortunately (or should I say, "Unfortunately?"), I was able to finish the process this time. So, here is this wonderful layout for the pleasure of your eyeballs.

In case you were wondering, Kingdom Hearts is a video game series made by the Square Enix gaming company. The characters of Kingdom Hearts were designed by Tetsuya Nomura. That means it is he who has copyright to the Kingdom Hearts characters. The main character of the story is Sora, one of two characters featured on this layout. His sweetheart is the girl named Kairi. She is one of the seven Princesses of Heart mentioned in the game series. Sora may be considered her knight in shining armor because he owns a special type of sword known as a keyblade. (What kind of knight doesn't own his own sword?) Only special people are allowed to wield such special blades. Anyway, he fights countless battles in order to save his friends and keep his promises to them. At the end of the first Kingdom Hearts video game (for PlayStation 2!), after saving Kairi from the raging war, Sora makes a very important promise to her: The promise to return to her in the end. He then leaves her in order to continue his fights on the battleground. I decided to name this layout "Oathkeeper" to describe what I thought about him: A keeper of an important oath. I also named the layout just that because in the video game, one of Sora's weapons is named Oathkeeper. It's a perfect match, don't you think?

I tried to portray the "love" between Sora and Kairi in this layout--that is, if there even is/was as deep of a relationship I made them seem to have. For example, there are the held-hands images, the we're-hugging-and-we-look-so-destined-to-be-together images... Oh, and my personal favorite image on this layout is the one cut out in a heart shape located right above the navigation column. That scene makes it look as though Sora and Kairi are kissing! How sweet and cute~. I give special thanks to Oritsuru.Com for taking that screenshot (and the other main images featured on this layout) and allowing me to use it. Just so you know, most of the images featured on this layout are taken from the Oritsuru site and only a few other images were taken from the BlueLaguna.Net and Passion-Skies.Net (which no longer exists as a site) sites.

The phrases that are part of this layout have been taken from the Kingdom Hearts video games. I placed them on the layout to add to the portrayal of Sora and Kairi's intimate relationship.

It's a fact! I count three images on this layout that have been taken from the first Kingdom Hearts game. The other images are screenshots from the Kingdom Hearts 2 full motion videos, but most of the features allude to the first game's events.

Too huge of a layout? I'm sorry if it bugs you that this layout's size is so big. I wanted to retain the quality of the images. Besides, one reason why I chose to make this layout was because I was drawn to the quality of the images I found at Oritsuru. It would kill me and my reason if I made the layout's image quality less.

Note: Although Roxas isn't actually featured on this layout design, the avatar of him above was inspired by this design era. In other words, because I made this Kingdom Hearts layout, I wanted to make other graphics featuring the series, and I did.
