Coquette Extravaganza features Yuna from the PlayStation2 role playing video game of Final Fantasy X-2. I chose to title the layout as such due to the fact that Yuna is a coquette. That, according to Dictionary.Com is "a woman who flirts lightheartedly with men to win their admiration and affection." If you have ever played FFX-2, then you would have an idea of about that... Anyway, not to be too caught up with the story's details, the images on this layout are all from the "real Emotion" performance full-motion video (the opener of the game). It practically was an extravaganza, "a lavishing show."
This layout design is similar to the Oathkeeper one. I was still (sort of) stuck on the style. However, my intent when in the process of designing was to make sure the end result was a graphic layout. In other words, I wanted to see the pictures throughout the design. Unfortunately, the side-menu bar looks a little plain. I wanted to add images to it, but I was at a loss of ideas. *Bawls* I did my best with what I had, though! *Hands over her shotgun* Please, feel free to shoot me if you are disappointed.
The small images for the main layout image and layout footer image are supposed to represent "the filmstrip look." I suppose you probably wouldn't notice it unless you read my thoughts, but... I gave it a try. It's safe to assume that I'm fond of it as well. Well, then, it'll be a new idea for me to use in the future! I'm sure I can make it better when the time comes.
I like the stars in the highlight side menu background (when you hover over the links). I think they're so cool, tee hee! If anything, I am quite amused by the blues I have put together. I have always been a fan of glowing blues.
This was mentioned many times in the past: I think the best colors to use with Yuna are blue and pink. Maybe they just work because of the original images' colors?
Coquette Extravaganza layout design is compatible with Internet Explorer, Netscape, MSN, Mozilla Firefox, and Opera web browsers. (But everyone knows that everything always looks better in Internet Explorer.) In addition to that, it is optimized for computer screen resoultions of 800x600 and 1024x768.
